I'd missed the last couple of Boats due to other commitments;
none this year, so here I am once more. In the playground . . .
Even before embarkation there was a buzzy feel, with waiting embarkees greeting and chatting on the quayside.
Onboard the volunteer (pressganged?) crew chatted during final preparations.
